I survived a summer flu and was pretty much sweating and frozen at same time.

Now I desperately want the storm that appears to be above our heads to break so it will cool down the temp, even only for a little while.

My lips look terrible. I look like I had a Botox injection gone wrong. I must have had an allergic reaction to something, but I am not sure what it was.

But I have Steven Tyler-esque lips. And on my face, it is not a good look.

So my husband went and did his hunting and providing duty.

Boar hunting at it's best. He came back with lots of delicious vittles.

Including the chops he made tonight. They were amazing. I paired them with rice pilaf and steamed asparagus.

All in all, a completely happy occurance and one that will continue for quite a while.

is the Comic Con site. Partner in crime and I decided we were going to go this year. We both tried logging into the site at 12pm EST and were both in a holding pattern. Two hours later and now it says come back on November 8th.
So the server crashed??? Do they not know that there are tens of thousands of people trying to buy tickets? How could they not be prepared as people do this every year? Is there anoyone on my f-list that has run into this in the past?
Inquiring me needs to know.

Today we went out and got the new kitchen appliances. The stove is not the dual fuel that I wanted, but it is gas and that makes me happy.

So husband is going to Lowe's on Tuesday with the final measurements for the new cabinets and in 30 days, we will have my kitchen ready.

OMG I am a happy camper.

The floors are finally being finished. We should be able to get the furniture moved in next week and will be one step closer to no longer living with my father in law.

I had come over with the first mass exodus when LJ let go half their staff, but I really haven't done my with my DW since. I will need to icon it up and add some style as the journal is quite plain right now.
